But curious why you keep coming back if you dislike it so much? That's a serious question because I never understood that.
One of my girlfriends has been a member here for 5 years and only posted a handful of times. She doenst like getting razzed when she ask a question or post a response. She keeps her user id because there is good info about local restaurants, crimes/accidents & upcoming events in the community from time to time. She basically scans the threads but chooses not to participate.

While not a regular on the forums, I have posted questions in the past concerning various topics (lawn care, city codes, etc.) and they were all answered promptly. THANKS!
Good luck finding some Garden-of-Eden forum.

I used to debate Jimmy, believing he was only severely wrong but correctable. Now I engage him for the entertainment factor. This forum can be educational at times and amusing at others, and there is nothing about Jimmy that is educational.

That or the fact that we tend to visit the same places - News and Politics - most often, and I noticed there was a little less headbutting going on with Larry.

The only sections I frequent any more are Home and Garden so I can make my maters grow bigger.

You should see my iggy list, it's like a history lesson in tard MPDs! It works for me, the only catch is that so many people quote the tards in question, making their posts visible in a thread. But I can skim past that pretty well most of the time.

Life is too short to take an online forum seriously. I've received some great advice/help from here, helped some animals, got some good free stuff, and tons of entertainment. There are several obnoxious posters but I skip over their predictable drivel and don't feel compelled to engage them or god forbid let my life be affected by idiots argueing on the internet. I don't always agree with everyone, I don't always have a popular opinion..but I hardly lose sleep over it. Its not healthy to be so wrapped up in an internet forum that your life is affected.

It only affects your life, when you allow it to affect your life.

Some days it affects me so much, I cry from laughing so hard. Then I have to walk away and regain composure and start all over again.
