I have used Precious Pups on Landover Rd. in Upper marlboro, I don't know what the ownership is like now - but my dog was ok every time I used them. it was convenient because it was on my way to work.
They are very near that private Catholic school up the hill from Tommy's Auto Clinic.

Hello,

I own and operate Interlude Kennel, LLC and the newly purchased Interlude’s Pet Paradise, LLC. There are many options for you to choose from. If you are considering boarding at a boarding kennel it is always a good idea to go and take a tour of the facility and meet the owners and the staff. See what kind of experience they have as well looking into what education in the animal field they and the staff possess. Same goes for pet sitters. If you go with a pet sitter, you should make sure they are bonded and insured. Find out who the local veterinarians recommend for pet sitters and/or kennels. Using boarding kennels is not for everyone and same with using pet sitters. Do your homework and most of all make sure that you are comfortable with your decision. Not every boarding facility is the same; some have extensive activities for the pets to participate in while others just offer your basic boarding and care. While some boarding kennels/pet sitters offer a lot and others do not we can all agree, the most important aspect of having someone take care of your pet is the safety, health and happiness of the pet. Really, it depends on what you are in the market for. Hope this helps-for more information you can visit interludekennel or click on the link below from the American Boarding Kennel Association.

Based on the previous posts, we chose to board our dogs at Farmstead Kennels.

We will NEVER board our dogs there again and do not recommend using them.
