I need a new Vet

I live in the Northern St. Mary's area and I need a new vet. I am willing to travel a bit...like 20 minutes or so? Who do you use? Likes? Dislikes?
I am just tired of waiting an hour in the waiting room at mine current one only to get called back and wait another 30 minutes for the vet to actually come in.

I don't know if Hollywood is more than 20 minutes from where you are, but we love Three Notch Veterinary on Airport View Road. We especially love Dr. Matteson, but all of the vets there (we've seen most of them anyway) are all great. The staff there also loves animals and does their best to make them feel less nervous when they have their check ups.

We have had a time or so when we've had to wait a bit, but it always seems longer than it is because Cody is so nervous. We've never had to wait over an hour. Good luck!

Kerri

I deal with All Kinds Veterinary. They are in Callaway, but it is worth the drive. the doctors there are very caring. They will even call the next day to see how the pet is after treatments/shots.

I use St. Mary's Vet's. I have been with them for 16 yrs. I have had no serious problems with them and the ones I have had I went to Dr. Forrest who owns the hospital and he handled it quickly and made me feel much better. Everyone there knows my voice, I don't even have to tell them who I am!

We use Three Notch too. Dr. Yasuda is incredible!

Unfortunately, I have to say that the office staff is truly not up to snuff. And, if you get out of there without some complication from the front office or a bill that is under a couple of hundred dollars (well, I have two dogs), then you're doing good!

Again, Dr. Yasuda rocks your socks off!

Tidewater in Charlotte Hall

I used to go to Tidewater and thought they were just great.

But since moving to Hollywood I changed to 3 Notch Vet Clinic. I like individual doctors, but not the place overall. They just seem like they want your money, and my friends and co-workers got the same impression, so it's not just me. All-kinds in Callaway is now my prefered vet.

If I lived further north, I'd be using Tidewater again.
