Distemper $ 10.00
Is the distemper shot the same as the DHLPP or just single dose Distemper?

Vaccination nutty here.

Be sure to note that the AAFP has changed it's vaccination protocol and many yearly vaccinations are no longer neccesary EVERY year and many are now recommended to be given every THREE years.

Certain rabies vaccination forumulas are know to cause cancer as are other vaccinations like the feline leukemia vaccination. The main culprit is the 3-year rabies vaccine containing adjutants...the safer vaccine being the yearly rabies vaccine.

And there's new protocol for dogs as well.

Cats that are housecats do NOT need the Feluk vaccine...my vet even recommends against it.

Thanks for answering so many questions Catt! I haven't been able to get on the net much this week.

To mAlice: Second Hope's Rabies Clinics will be held the first Sunday of each month in Callaway, from 1-3 pm. If you drive btwn Bear Creek BBQ and the Crystal Room building, the Beauvue Animal Clinic office is on the left alongside Bear Creek BBQ...

Thanks Catt.... now the problem is getting all the vets online with the new recommendations, as the new protocols definitely will be cutting into their pocket ($$).
