Pet Expo this Saturday

There will be a Pet Expo at the Calvert County Fairgrounds in Prince Frederick on Saturday, May 03,2008 at 9am-4pm. No pets can come but there will be venders with pet related products and services, door prizes, and live animal demonstrations! Exhibits by the Humane Society of The United States, local & state agencies include pet disaster planning, pet first aid, pet care, spay/neuter, animal control, rabies, wildlife & pet adoptions. Admission for adults is $3 and children under 12 are $1. Bring a donation of pet food, towels, sheets, blankets, leashes, or bleach and get a $1 discount on your adult ticket!

Expo is sponsored by Charles, Calvert, and St. Marys County Commissioners, the Tri-County Animal Shelter Advisory Commitee and the Tri-County Animal Shelter staff.

What a great time we had there (Second Hope Rescue), it was a great location and many friendly exhibitors and people doing demonstrations (besides all the rescues).

Hopefully next year will find an even larger attendance from the public looking for their forever companions!
