So, it seems that those that talk the most about paying higher taxes to support more social programs, should be paying their current taxes with open hearts to support those programs they want the rest of us to pay for.

I totally agree.

You know you have people who grow up and actually want to help out their community. Like becoming a Police Officer, a Fire Fighter...etc. And most of them are glad they do it.

It used to be that getting elected to Congress or the Presidency was the same way. A great public service. Now it's turned into just another business venture. They are not even half way listening to us anymore.
