Is there a consensus about what is the best in-home treadmill for between $700-$800?
Thanks,

We have a Nordictrack that has lasted and is great, but It was around $1,200. If I were you, I'd check the classifieds daily, as there is usually quite a bit of like new/barely used exercise equipment posted at great prices.

You might look at the Nordictrac A.C.T. elliptical, if you might want to go that way over a treadmill. Right now they are supposed to be $899, about 800 off list, the reviews look good.

I purchased a floor model Proform from Sears several years ago at half price ($400) and it has been awesome. Works great and received a huge discount. Worth every cent. Ask for floor model.

I got a Nordic trac (Model A2105) from Sears last year and I've been very happy with it. It has speeds up to 10mph and inclines too. It was normally $799 on sale for $499 and it works great! It has an all digital display and I use it 5 days a week.
Decide how many bells and whistles you want on it. Mine has more than I need but it was the best sale price I've found. Check them out and wait for their sales because they have some good price reductions.

You can walk in place in front of the tv for free, plus it is easy to pick up and move it out of the way when you're done with it.
