Sounds to me like the first thing she has ever done right for the GOP.

I congratulate her. Maybe she isnt as bad as we have heard.

Sarah Palin's stock just went through the ceiling as a power-broker in the Conservative world.

WTH was she allowed to run as a republican in the first place?

Newt stepped in the dog doo on this one. Might have blown any chance he may have had for a Presidential run, although I dont think his chances were that good to begin with.

Tread lightly my friends and be aware. The NRA endorsed her as well.

No one, ever, lost an election due to their veep choice. As evidence, the greatest public campaign slamming, of all time, Dan Quayle by Lloyd Bentson, did not change the contrast between Bush 41 and The Duke.

Point being John McCain lost because he was lock step with George Bush and his very left leaning governance, including TARP, not because of Palin.

The left and, frankly, much of the left leaning GOP, is terrified of her and what she represents. If the GOP is going to represent the right again, it's gonna be one race at a time and it's gonna be a fight every step of the way.

So, what do you know about Hoffman and why do you like him? THAT is what you need to be sure of, what you are FOR.

 did this thread squeeze through a time warp or something? I must have missed a posting or twelve about Bush-McCain vs. Obama in 2008 or something.

Hoffman (http://politicalpistachio.blogspot.com/2009/10/new-york-district-23-and-doug-hoffman.html) has one important quality, he's pro-life. Then, he's a lot like Larry. Anti-Party (http://www.thenextright.com/patrick-ruffini/ny-23-doug-hoffman-for-congress) at this point.

I didn't see a word about him or his position on issues.
