THEFT FROM VEHICLE: A Garmin GPS was stolen from a car that was parked outside a home on Harrison Blvd. in Chesapeake Beach sometime on October 31 in the evening hours. The victim advised DFC Robert Burggraff that the global positioning system is valued at $170. The victim also stated that the vehicle was unlocked.

Sorry. You were asking for it. Lock your car next time. What a waste of time and energy to investigate these.

Times are changing kids. Time to sanitize them cars before you leave them and make the extra effort to push that lock button on your key fob. I know its a whole lot of effort. Why would you leave a purse or an expensive piece of gear like a Garmin in your unlocked car.

I know, people shouldn't steal but they do so we have to adjust or catch them in the act and make use of a well aimed baseball bat. :coffee:

If the police can't protect us then maybe it's time for the citizens to stand up against these thieves. Shot two or three of the them while they are breaking in your car and word will get around not to mess with the cars in your neighborhood. Ok why waste a perectly good bullet on the low lifes, practice your swing with a good basebal bat on them.

Let's see, car unlocked, keys in car, laptop in car, purse in car, and I'll bet they were surprised when it was stolen. :lmao: Why didn't they put a sign on the car, "STEAL ME, KEYS AND MONEY INSIDE."

For real. Sometimes we get too comfortable and careless. When you get violated by having your purse stolen it's a wake up call.
