I've just spent the last 1/2 hour reading his story. What an inspirational young man!

God speed Jordan on your final trip home surrounded by your family and friends. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I agree. What an incredible young man and I love the support system he has with his family and his awesome friends. Seems like his family will have a lot of shoulders and support while they are going through this.

Thoughts and prayers go out to Jordan's family and friends.

In reading through this young man's courageous story, I noticed that his Dad's email was posted at the bottom of his journal entries. Maybe we could all send a message/prayer/thought to this family in further support:

PagsZoo@verizon.net

I know I will be sending some thoughts and prayers their way....

That's so great, congrats to JP on this wonderful accomplishment!

Having said that, I read a little of the site you posted and I'm heartbroken. He seems like such an amazing young man but what a sad situation. I could only read a little before I started to get too emotional. Thoughts and prayers to JP, his family, and all his friends. It's apparent that he's quite an inspiration to so many.

The Leonardtown High School community will be honoring JP tonight at their last football game. It is also senior night and they are playing Chopticon High School.

They will be collecting donations and will give all monies collected to JP's family to help pay for any medical and funeral expenses.

I hope that everyone who comes out, from both CHS & LHS, will contribute at least $1.00 to this cause.

Should be a great game as well.

And God knows the angels and seraphs wept
as they welcomed one young man home.

And he will leave this world a humble teacher,
but be welcomed into Heaven as a hero,
finally come home.

Laurie Pagnelli is my Pampered Chef (PC) Director. I had a wonderful opportunity to meet and know the Pagnelli family. It broke my heart when I received an email last week about Jordan from my PC Director.

Jordan and his parents are very wonderful people.

I wrote in a previous post on this thread that I was going to email the family and offer my prayers and support, just to let them know how many of us were touched by this story of hope and belief.

Well, I did just that. Never, ever did I think that I would get a personal email back. Evidently they read and answer each and every email that they receive. What an inspirational family. I could only hope to aspire to be so loving and have the faith and personal belief system that they have.

I will continue my silent prayers for this young man and his family. Wow. That is all, just Wow.

Prayers to him, his family and friends. Jordan was a year behind me in school and I always heard about how strong he was emotionally and physically. My father has cancer and that is hard enough on me, Jordan truely is a hero in many ways.

I found another link that explains why Jordan might have been hit with such a horrible rare cancer.

Memorial services will be held this Saturday (14 November) at St John Francis Regis Parish (commonly known as “St John’s Church”) on St John’s Road in Hollywood Maryland (just off Route 235). On that day, Jordan would have turned 18-years old. :bawl:

RIP Jordan. Although I never had the honor or pleasure of meeting you, you became a profound part of my life these last few weeks as I followed your progress into the internal light. Know that you left a legacy behind that most adults never reach. You've touched more hearts than most, and carried yourself to the end with your dignity, compassion and love of life. God bless you young man, and may peace be with you, your family and friends.

You did it your way!
