Another Internet Explorer Problem

Ok I just recently reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled most of my programs. Now when I type an address in the address bar of internet explorer it tries to access my floppy, if there is no disk in the drive it just sits there like the computer is locked up. I stick a disk in and about 30 seconds later I regain control.

Does anyone have any ideas on this one? Im running Windows 98SE and IE 5.0

I've seen it before, but don't know how I fixed it. You can always:

format C:\

Upgrade your IE. That should fix it.
