Mothers Day Project?

watercolor

yeah yeah
Ideas? OK. Here is what I have.

Fingerpaints
Butcher Paper
glue and every color paper imaginable
And kids hands and feet. (ages 4, 2.5, and 6 mths)

Trying to make something for mothers day for them to give their mom. Any ideas? :lmao:

have the kids use the finger paints and construction paper to make flowers. cut out the flowers and glue them inside a construction paper card of another color.

HA! :lmao: Even though I am sure they would appreciate it.

I'm sure the parents would crack up while the kids were  :lmao:

How about a coupon for a night out on the town and baby sitting already taken care of with some notice

watercolor

yeah yeah
cool idea.

I think that is cool.. although, I have to say that they have like a "handprint" project from previous mothers days. So I was trying to think of something different.

My Sweetest Boy
One of my most special things..

Trace their little hands on a piece of paper, or have them dip their hands in tempra paint..and then write this poem next to their handprints...

Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls.

But every day I'm growing -
I'll be grown some day
And all those tiny handprints
Will surely fade away.

So here's a little handprint
Just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small

My son has his tiny hand prints with this poem under it framed and hanging in our kitchen. One of my most cherished possessions. :yay:

Happy Camper!
T made me a painted vase of flowers when he was in pre-k (I think).

It was just a large sheet of white paper with his handprints in red as the flowers with green stems drawn in and then they colored a the vase at the bottom. Very cute and it looked pretty simple to do (guess it had to be to atempt that project with 20+ 5y/o).

I find great ideas here all the time
