Bowie the Fox UPDATE

I helped rescue a small fox a while back.
Several Formites have asked how he is doing.
He is doing great! I went and visitied him at his current foster home and got some new photos.
He is a very healthy, smart gray fox and will be released in September/early October.

His release area is far away from people and close to other foxes.
Not to worry!!

But with horses, grain, your have mice, smakes, etc and thus foxes ....

He wanted out of the cage, but his foster mum was not up to playing chase the fox int he isolation room.
So he kept on trying to figure out how to get to my camera..
got one shot that is ALL fox nose!!! hahaa...

Wanted to show off all his sides and his bushy tail and sweet face and blue eyes.

Wow! How did you rescue him? Where did you find him? I didn't know they had blue eyes! He is simply beautiful. Thanks for saving him.

I am just one of 4 people involved in saving his life.
He was found on the side of the road playing with trash (?) and a passer by thought it was a kitten...turned out to be a very small fox that should still be with mom.
I picked him up in central MD and transported him to his foster mum,..I visit when I can and think he is amazing!!
