Is there anyone on here that has vacationed there? I want information on lodging in coastal areas so I can be close to either Pacific Ocean or Carribean fishing grounds. I don't care which.

I hope so. If the fishing isn't any good I'll go hunting dinosaurs.

I don't know how helpful. Went to pacific side many years ago on a cruise. Saw the wildlife sancuarys in the jungle, guide was a biologist doing tours on the side, very knowledgeable. They figure the birds fly North for Summer to mate and return home in Winter.

Early next year, plan on seeing Limon on Eastern side.

Now, we were travelling by ship, so no knowledge of lodging. But, I can say Costa Rica is a beautiful country, I think you will like it.
