Not sure if anyone'll notice, but I'll probably be gone for a few days this week. My wife visited the doctor today. She's dilated to 4 cm. The doctor made an appointment for next week, but says there's almost no chance she'll be visiting next week.

Looks like we're having a baby this week.

Yup it was my better half.

I'll keep you posted. I just wish I knew the sex - so I know which one of my other kids is going to lose half their room :biggrin: But the little brat wasn't giving it up. 2 scheduled sonograms, and 4 ultrasounds because of pancreatitis - and NOTHING.

Not even born yet, and (s)he's a little troublemaker!

I'm going to guess and say girl also.

Congrats! Tomorrow is my hubby’s birthday, maybe the baby will come tomorrow. :wink:

Thank you all for the well-wishings!

No baby yet. We're still pacing the floor. Our bags are packed for a few days at the hospital, I have cigars to pass out to friends and relatives - but we're waiting.

Yesterday she was getting contractions, like every 15 minutes for a while. Around nightfall they just kinda faded away. :burning:

I wonder if performing the Heimlich Maneuver would work... Hmmmm

Congrats to you and your wife, Toxick!!!!! That's such exciting news!

BTW - I've heard numerous things work for helping labor along....

1. sex
2. castor oil
3. spicy foods
4. walking
5. sex
6. last, but not least, sex

Just cause she's having complications doesn't mean it's going to be a girl.... My little one gave me hell my entire pregnancy. Well the 2nd and 3rd trimester at least.
