Just got my new computer put together

Asus Motherboard, AMD Athlon XP 2400, Maxtor 120GB HD,

wasnt compatable with my video card though so I had to dig out an old 4MB dinosaur and put in it.

Huge step up from a 233 MHz machine. Hmmm it looks like I buy a new computer when the pricessors are 10X faster than my old one....went from a 25MHz to a 233, to a 2000.....

which asus mb did ya get, how much ram and what kind? damn I'm a :nerd:

It's like being at the controls on Star Trek isn't it! Everytime we get new PC's I feel like I have so much POWER!!!:biggrin:

I got the A7S333, nothing fancy really.
512MB of PC2700 DDR

Can I have your old one? I'm still rocking a 133 at the house, a 233 would be a sweet upgrade.
