New thread on incident going on in Newburg

Just wanted to start a new thread about the incident ongoing in Newburg. Units are on the scene and staging for a water rescue/recovery of a body that has been missing since last night. Charles County Boats and Support Units, as well as King George Boat 3, Colonial Beach Rescue Boat, MSP Trooper 2, DNR, Charles County Sheriffs Office, Maryland State Police are on the scene and still responding, units are staging at Aqua Land and the News Media are being directed to stage at the Truck Stop before the bridge on SB 301. Units are operating on TAC 3 for those who have a Charles County scanner frequency. I'll post more when I hear it

United States Coast Guard helicopter in the air, Command requesting Charles County to find out what radio frequency they are operating on.....

Command requesting St. Mary's Boat 5, Charles County advising they failed on the earlier dispatch, alerting Charles County Dive Team for SONAR... MSP Trooper 2 advising they had initial information that a body had been found, but also receiving other information. Trooper 2 staying on TAC 2 for more information, they can not raise any Coast Guard helicopter on the VHF Marine Channels... Command requesting Trooper 2 to shut off area to all Media helicopters, they are invading the air-space of the rescue helicopters. Command requesting ETA from Dive Team for their SONAR, Chief 13B advising they have a 30min ETA. Boat 8 advising they are assisting DNR with recovery of one victim in the water, they have not found the other victim. MSP Trooper 2 advised they have made contact with SYSCOM to advise all Media helicopters to stay away from the Bridge/Recovery area.

Weather advising high tide was at 11:37am, and low tide will be in at 5:10pm..... Trooper 2 advising they have located a vest on the beach on the VA side, they are hovering over it right now. Trooper 2 inquiring what the color of the original vest they are looking for was. Command advising the vest was green and black in color, Trooper 2 advising the vest that they are hovering over was green and red in color

Trooper 2 now advising they have found 2 beach chairs laying down on the beach on the VA side, Trooper 2 has to leave, they are having Potomac Heights Boat 7 go to where the Trooper is to make sure no one moves or touches the vest and chairs, also Coast Guard Zodiac Rescue Boat in on the scene with the chairs.

Boaters, I believe they went overboard during the storms last night, this has been going on overnight, they have pulled one victim from the water, I believe its a priority 4, but dont know if that is for sure or not, also Charles County Mobile Command Post is on the scene, staging at Aqua Land. Command advising numerous media helicopters are flying through restricted air space...... Command advising they do have one victim at the pier at this time (12:06pm)

Command advising PIO is at the truck stop, all news media is supposed to be there, but some are leaking down to the staging area, where THEY ARE NOT supposed to be....

Command advising all boats (King George Boat 3, Colonial Beach Rescue Boat 1, Fireboat 6, Fireboat 7, Fireboat 8, and a Virginia Rescue Boat) will be doing a grid search across the river, due to the tide, they will not be doing a north to south search, units are going in the water at this time...

Command requesting Charles County to re-dispatch St. Mary's Boat 5, they were dispatched at the get-go, but failed to respond.... Surprised they havent called for the PG Dive Team.....

Charles County advising St. Mary's Boat 5's Side SONAR is out of service, can respond with the boat though, command said keep them inservice....
