His Boy Elroy

HBE is pretty good. I've seen 'em a couple times at Fager's Island in OC. Definitely worth a trip up there.

This band is definitely worth checking out, too. http:\\www.trippfabulous.com They play at O'Brien's in Annapolis this Saturday. Great, great cover band w/ a girl lead singer and a guitarist who sings a few songs, too. If you click on the bio link and scroll down, you'll see their song list. Really good stuff. The farthest south they come seems to be Annapolis/NOVA. They're mainly in Philly, New Jersey and Dewey Beach/OC. I've seen them about six times at Seacrets in OC this summer and they're always great.

Wow - they play a wide variety of stuff, and I like almost all of it. I might have to try and check them out sometime.
