Once again, historic Sotterley Plantation will “Celebrate the Best of Maryland in a Breathtaking Setting”at Riverside WineFest at Sotterley 2008. Guests will enjoy multiple wine tastings (no tasting tickets required), wine making and wine tasting demonstrations, So. Maryland, So Good demos and exhibits, live music, fine artisan vendors with beautiful hand-crafted items, great food featuring Southern Maryland favorites (such as pit-roasted meats, fried oysters, crab cakes, stuffed ham, freshly made ice cream, wraps and more), children’s activities including games and face painting, tours and more! 16 wineries will be joining the festival this year, and if you haven’t sampled Maryland wines lately, then come and taste what’s new while you enjoy a view second to none!
Tickets may be purchased in advance for a discounted price of $17 through September 26th, and at the gate tickets will be $20. Designated Driver and Ages 6-20 are $5, and under age 6 are free.
