Need Help Quick...

Just debugged an HD and reinstalled Windows 2000 Server..
Ran all of the service packs and updates/patches, so obviously the server has been rebooted multiple times without incident.
After installing SQL2000 and service pack 3a, i started the Sql service, rebooted and bang... NTLDR Missing.. No boot...
There is not a disk in the drive. (which is why you would normally get this msg)
Any ideas? This is the second time this has happened....On the same server...
If I wasn't bald I'd be pulling my hair out.....

Have you made an ER disk??

Can you fix the server with the ER disk and it still work ok??

ummm actually.. I do not have such a disk... Can I make one on another server?

I didnt think they worked anyways....:shrug:

It's server specific because of the registry.

I would suggest you redo the server, make the disk BEFORE adding the SP3a for SQL, that way you can undo the SP3a.
