 Anybody have them?

I was wondering how they are as pets?

Sugar Gliders are nocturnal, meaning when you want to go to sleep, they are waking up, playing, eating, chewing, making noise in general. If you don't get them as babies and handle them often they can be very nasty. They also need lots of exercise. Small cages are no good for them

They are cool animals, and very cute! Like Chinchillas, I believe they are very timid animals that don't like a stressful environment, but I could be wrong.

My son saw them at a co-workers house. She has 6 dogs, 5 cats, a bunch of bunnies and I'm sure I'm leaving a few other creatures out. Her family seems to really enjoy them, but I don’t want to just go on her opinion only. They seem rather cute and my dad is going to Florida over the winter, so I was going to have him pick me up two, since they like companionship. The hubby has been insistent on either the Sugar Glidders or another dog, but not both. He is no fun.
