I had a cat who did that to two neighborhood dogs that were chasing him. The cat only had three legs (missing one of his back legs) and was missing two claws off of one of his front paws. He shredded both the dogs noses and sent them running with their tails tucked between their legs.

They were big dogs, too. One was a golden lab and the other a black shepherd mix. My neighbor had the gall to complain about my three-legged cat hurting his dogs.
