We found a Cockatiel once on a trip to the mountains. He just popped down out of a tree at Hubby's feet while he was fishing. We hit the local discount store for a cage and some food. Never were able to find the owners, and we had to leave for home, so he became our pet. That has to be the strangest stray I've ever encountered!
