I used to shear my grandma's herd every summer when I was a kid. My hands were always so soft and smooth afterward from all that lanolin. I had to learn the hard way how to shear without cutting them. Almost got all the wool off in one piece by the end. She did not have the best clippers either.

I have 8 llamas I am getting ready to shear..what does she charge? I usually do them myself and then sell the fiber on ebay...

She did my angora goats too. Nice lady. She will be back in the spring to do the boys again. I tossed the hair last time, but would be happy to give it away if someone wanted it - I have no use for it.
