Spider webs on lawn!

I looked out on my back lawn this morning and saw the creepiest thing. There are spider webs covering it! What in the world does that mean? I know that I have seen a lot of webs around this year, but nothing like this. I remember reading something about when spiders build webs close to the ground, then a snowy winter is coming. Old wives tale...?

MILDER Ha! It's November and I sent I'm still wearing summer dresses and shorts!

As for the spider webs, I noticed more spiders in general everywhere this year.

There really isnt more spiders than usualle,It is just the fact with all the rain,That in the morning you have a higher concentration of moisture on the ground surface in which attaches itself to the web of spiders therefore making the webs more visable.
