Sheriff's Office was doing something back on FDR at the Days Inn and came upon either a drug deal in progress, or he identified one of the people as a known drug dealer. As he was approaching the suspects, one took off. He drew his gun and held two at gunpoint. Police are still actively searching for the suspect, but the officer said 'If you don't find him, don't worry. I have his dope, his ID and his car.'
Either way, sounds like the guy is screwed!
2259; One officer advised that one of the people being detained is security. The other officer advised that he was under arrest for distribution. Nice.
