I received a text alert on this yesterday around 5ish.....Leonardtown (ST. MARYS) *Ped. Struck*IAO 23089 RT 5/EMS on SCN W.PEDIATRIC STRUCK. UnCONCS W/Head Injury III MNA/17


Anyone hear anything about this?

Received the same text message, but didn’t get mine until 9:23 p.m. I never heard anything further though.

yes a child was struck yesterday they said he was born in 2005.

It was not in Leonardtown, it was a 4 year old needed checked out after getting hit by a car at Laurel Glen. he was taken to SMH.

Very very minor accident. Mother/father just wanted him checked out.

Wonder why a msg was sent out that the patient was unconcious....could it be possible that there were 2 different accidents invoving a child? One in Leonardtown & one in Laurel Glenn?

I didnt hear anything in Leonardtown, the only one involving a child was in Laurel Glen, behind Kmart. Probably just a miscommunication.
