Birds afraid of chickens?

We have several bird feeders along our backyard fence. Last summer I got 5 chickens for a backyard flock. I've noticed a drastic drop in the number of wild birds coming to my feeders. Are they afraid of my chickens? I can't imagine they would interact much, as the chickens range over about 2/3 of an acre of fenced in yard and the feeders are only along one side.

Should I try moving the wild bird feeders to the front yard? It doesn't seem as bird-friendly, fewer trees, etc.

Now that it is so cold outside I have tons of sparrow types living in or near my chicken coop so they can clean up the leftover food. I actually have one group living under the coop. It only sits about an inch off the ground so I guess it stays warm under there. This morning one was so cold she couldn't move and I picked her up and warmed her as best I could. She seemed to be getting friskier but then all of a sudden she stiffened up and died. It was sad. Anyway back to your question....I don't think they are afraid.
