I found an obscure Politics Forum thoroughly infested with ditto-heads and bush-bots, and I think it would do us a world of good to join this forum en masse.

Take a look around in some of the threads, and you’ll be amazed at their poor grasp of the facts and their crude attempts at logical reasoning.

I know, many of you don’t believe in wasting time debating these types. But I believe doing just that -- as a group -- would offer several benefits:

1. We’ve been arguing among ourselves over subtle differences of opinion, forgetting who our real opponents are. It would greatly improve our sense of unity to go together to a conservative forum, debate politics with them, then return to DU to circle our wagons, and laugh about these dweebs behind their backs.

2. It would give us a chance to hone our arguments on the issues with people on the other side of the fence, rather than “preaching to the choir.”

3. It would serve as something of an anthropological field study, to see dittoheads in their natural habitat and learn more about their political motivations. This forum could be like our very own “lab class.”

I should note that, although this is a Southern Maryland forum, the political opinions expressed are not representative of the region, which actually has more Democrats than Repugs.

Also, there’s no reason to feel we would be “disrupters,” because a statement on the main page says it’s intended for “Democrat, Republican, Independent. Liberal or conservative.”

So, what do you think? Does this sound like a worthwhile endeavor? Does it sound like fun?

Please read...If you're going to do this, it would be advisable NOT to follow the link from the original post. The owners of the web site can look at their logs to determine where the new traffic is coming from. DU will show in their logs.
How will you feel when the Bush Bots show up over here and attempt to wreak havoc on DU?

Sorry everyone....I didn't realize that this info was already posted.

I was cruising around looking to see who they (the DU) were targeting for attack today and I saw this board come up.

Anyway they all sit around in one big liberal "circle jerk" trying to convince themselves that their opionions matter.

They don't just ban conservative disruptors...they ban ANYTHING that is to the right of being a complete socialist.

Hell, moderate Democrats are regularly run out of there "on a rail".

I mean you could be the biggest tree hugging, socialist, left wing, liberal wacko on the planet, but if you so much as even sneeze in a conservative manner without having racked up at least 2,000 posts of pure leftist liberal pablum over there...you're gone.

It's pretty sad that they have to police their board so that they can sit in around in a one big giant liberal "circle jerk" as they stroke each other without having to defend their socialist ideas and philosophies.

They claim to have 13,500 members, but about 68% of that number is comprised mostly of banned conservatives...if they would subtract from their registered member number everytime they banned someone, as well as "prunning" membership roles for inactive members (like almost every other bulletin board does) then they would end up with only a few hundred members...but just like they believe that AL Gore won, they live in a fantasy world completely isolated from reality.

Heck, they banned nearly 2,000 people in their first few weeks, as shown here:

We've had a few run-ins with them on a board that I administrate.

The problem is that most of them never stick around to debate their garbage...they fly in and puke their socialist garbage and then run back to the DU to hide behind their administrator (David Allen A.K.A - "Skinner's") "skirt".

Anyway...you all have a nice board overhere...I may stick around if you'll have me.:cheers:

Grab a name and stay awhile. We argue, we fight, we sometimes just overwhelmingly agree, but we certainly aren't anything like that crap at DU.

Despite what the DemonRatUnderground rules say...they actively organize attacks on other boards.

We at <a href="http://www.ronaldreagan.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php">RonaldReagan.com</a> also allow everyone from whatever their political persuasion to post...heck, we even built the Liberals their own little forum ( <a href="http://www.ronaldreagan.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=forum;f=3">Liberalism Vs. Conservatism</a> ) where thay can debate their socialist agenda in "the arena of ideas".

Unfortunatley, they prefer to do "hit jobs" on other bulletin boards (like the one that tried to do to you all today)...I just happened to be over there (it's a great place for comedy relief...I laugh my ass reading some of the garbage that they actively believe in) and saw that your board had come up on their daily hit list, and figured I would at least let you know what you all were dealing with...but it wasn't until after I had posted this thread that I realized you all had it under control.

Anyway...I go by The Finman...I will probably reregister under that. :cheers:

Anyway, so what? You're not going to find anyone on this board who thinks either of the Bush's are sterling examples of leadership. You're also not going to find many Rush/Laura/whoever fans, either, as several people have already pointed out to you. Just because you're a lockstep partisan doesn't mean everyone is.
