St. Mary’s County Public Schools’ (SMCPS) Department of Special Education, in partnership with Wyle Laboratories Inc., is sponsoring a Transition Conference/Luncheon for parents of middle and high school students who receive special education services. This event will be held Thursday, May 19, 2011, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., at Wyle Laboratories Inc., located at Exploration III Conference Center, Exploration Drive, Lexington Park, MD 20653. Guest speakers will present information about funding and services that may be available for students after they transition from high school. Community providers will also be on hand to provide information about their services.
