Academic and Employment Opportunities Information Night for Middle and High School Students Scheduled
Calvert County Public Schools and Nav Air/Pax River will be presenting an Academic and Employment Opportunities Information Night at Calvert High School on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. The program is for parents and students in Grades 6 to 12. Presenters from Nav Air/Pax River will provide information about employment opportunities for the summer of 2012 for students in high school and college. The process for online application for student summer employment will be described.
Calvert County Public Schools will highlight current school-based programs in Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics for students in grades 6 to 12. Programs offered at the Career and Technology Academy (CTA) will be featured in a video presentation. Nav Air/Pax River will describe programs and opportunities for students through Navy scholarships and work student opportunities.
