The St. Mary's County Public Schools Partners for Success Resource Center for Families and Schools will be presenting a workshop for parents of students that receive special education services. The workshop, entitled Putting the Positives in IEP's is intended for parents of students who may need assistance managing their behavior in school so that they are available for learning. Such students may require a Functional Behavior Assessment to develop a positive behavior intervention and support plan. These support plans can make a difference in a child's life at school.
Missy Alexander, a Parents' Place of Maryland parent educator, will present this workshop on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the Student Services Conference Room located at 23160 Moakley Street, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
