...they are young.

Inexperienced.

Couldn't figure out a zone to save their lives.

Can't shoot free throws.

Faced the defending National Champs who still have 4 key players from last year.

Had trouble with big teams all year.

And still had two shots from close in to go to overtime.

Anyone doubt they would have won?

They didn't run out of gas. They ran out of time.

I can't wait until next year!!!

:yay: for the Terps, what a turnaround over the past 3 weeks, losing one key person with an able backup to take over for him next year. I see no danger in losing anyone to "coming out early". Next year should be a good one.

These are great times to be a MD fan, 2 great coaches guiding the football and b-ball teams, enjoy em while you can, they aren't getting any younger.

I may be wrong, but I've assumed that Ekene Ibekwe would move to the middle, he's slid to the middle when Smith has been rested. He's young and needs to curb his over-aggressive(fouls) play, but from what I've seen this year, he's improved tremendously(more than anyone on the team,IMO) over the season.

...I think they have him more in mind for small forward. He ain't big enough to play center or power forward.

I saw a monster enter one of the games, freshman I think and I can't remember his name.

Looked awful raw.
