This Space for Rent
Well, I am familiar with moving a cat short distances. I know how to make sure they get prepared and use to the environment before going outside, etc...
The one thing I haven't done is move the cat across the country on a three day trip. That is coming with my move there in June.
In the car he will be mostly stuck in a carrier. My concerns are as follows ---
1) Timing his litter. I can give him the opportunity but I doubt he will just say, "Great! I will go now and then climb back in the tiny carrier!" -- Yet, we can't spend hours stopped waiting for him to go. Any thoughts?
2) He won't handle this well. I can say that for sure. Can I just ask a vet for some sort of cat valium? Is there something for this?
TIA -- (coming) FromTexas
