US official: Marine rapid response team sent to Yemen in wake of violence - The Washington Post

WASHINGTON — An elite Marine rapid response team arrived in Yemen’s capital Friday in the wake of violence and protests at the U.S. Embassy, the Pentagon said.

Pentagon press secretary George Little said the decision to dispatch about 50 Marines to Sanaa was partly in response to the violence and partly as a precautionary measure.

I'd love to know where the president is. Shouldn't he be doing a press conference or something? Does he have one scheduled? I haven't heard anything. Definitely not getting a warm and fuzzy from that guy. When is he going to be a president and not a campaigner in chief?
