Free Horseback Riding Experience to any Injured Veteran During the Month of November
In celebration of Veterans Day and to show our ongoing support and gratitude for our Armed Forces, the Melwood Recreation Center is excited to offer a free horseback riding experience to any injured veteran during the month of November.
The Equestrian Program at the Melwood Recreation Center is designed to provide safe, rewarding, and challenging riding experiences to riders of all ability levels. Our instructors our certified by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, International. The horses used in our program are specifically chosen and trained to work with riders who may have special needs. We are also proud to have a facility and adaptive equipment that make riding even more accessible to a variety of individuals.
