How Is It.....

Celebrities; Jay Leno for example; get the opportunity to fly with the Blue Angels? As a local; having been around our Navy base all my life and wanting to fly, it seems an impossibility. Do these celebs make donations to the Angels or to the Navy?

It's about publicity for the Blues. If they take Jay up for a ride, he talks about it on the Tonight Show and talks up the team and the Navy. Good for all involved.

If they take you or me for a ride, no one cares but us.
