Looking For A Home

My sister is involved with SMAWL and sent me this email. Thought I would pass it on.
Hello Everyone,
I have been trying to find a loving home for two affection-starved adult
cats whose owner passed away. Their situation is now desperate.

Owen and Lazara are 10 yr old long-hair littermates and life-long
companions. They have been living alone in their house now for probably two
months or so, or more. They are both vocal, affectionate, sweet, and
strikingly gorgeous. I took them to the vet today, and even the vet
complimented them on their good looks. They are up to date on all shots,
and Lazara was even found to be micro-chipped.

Owen and Lazara must go together. They seem to rely emotionally on each
other, and they have already suffered the loss of their beloved companion.
Owen tested positive for FIV, a misunderstood disease, and Lazara is
vaccinated to protect her from it. Owen shows no sign of being affected by
the disease, although his life span will be shortened. For now, he is a
healthy 16 pounds of love and purring. His personality is really cute, and
he often makes me chuckle when I visit him.

They have lived with a dog ("the meanest dog in St. Mary's County") and did
just fine. They are indoor/outdoor.

I have only until Friday to find them a home. Please forward this email to
everyone with a soft heart you know.

Thank you.
Trish
