How long have you been dating him?  Serious or casual?  What does he like to do?  More information, please!

What about a DVD Player?  They are in the category that microwaves were 20 years ago--something we didn't really have a lot of use for, until we tried them.  You can get one for a reasonable price now and all new movies are available on DVD.  It's a switch from VCRs, but one all of us will make eventually.

Sorry we have been together for 9 months. He lives with me. He has a 2001 Neon he has all fix up, but it seems like I always get him some thing for his car. I wan it to be more personal. And Teddy the DVD was good but we have one.

Well since all the females are answering.. What about a leather coat? Or colonge? What about jewelry? Necklace - bracelet? Is he into movies? Like DVD's. Is he into clothes?

What else does he like besides his car? What about a weekend getaway?  Your tap?  HOpe you find something - not to long before christmas..

I thought about a get away, but I want him to have some thing to open for x-mas. I thought about jewelry with maybe an engraving, but I am not sure if guys like more practical and usful stuff for christmas. I can always get him clothes, but that seemed "motherish" to me. That's why I was kind of hoping I could get the guys piont of view.

How about wrapping a ribbon around your waist and wait for him to wake up in the morning to find you under the tree.

Cute king :blushing:, but don't you guys like stuff you can use or show off? I mean taking care of him on Christmas is a given, but I was hoping he would have a post present.

Queen,

I have a really great idea...you could give him a star.  Yes, a real star.  There are a few places that you can buy a star and name it.  I can't remember the store at either Tysons Corner, or Fair Oaks.  Try a search on the internet.

They also have a book out...everyone who has "purchased" a star.  It's really neat and very romantic.

Anyhow...just a thought!!!!

If you have the cash an X-Box or a Playstation 2 is always a winner with the men.  I hear all the guys moaning and groaning like little babies around my office pining for an X-Box.

One guys wife got him some porn on DVD last year and he thought that was the greatest.  Apparently some allow you to view from different angles (gotta love how they can be so creative with new technology!) :)

My husband is getting Bose Surround sound this year for Christmas.

Sure fire guy pleaser:

Go to Bath and Body Works and have the gal show you to the men's section.  Pick a nice guy-ey fragrance and get bath gel, scrubby stuff, some foot stuff, a big loofa - you get the picture.  After he opens it, you treat him to a candlelit bath for two (don't forget champagne and flutes), complete with pedicure, and a massage.  This way everyone gets lucky, if you know what I mean. :really:

No bathtub?  Buy a couple of pairs of good-quality silk boxers.  Not the K-Mart ones but good ones.  He'll wear them and think of you all day.

Queen Flirter,

Nope, I don't need anything to show off other then my woman.  She is the only thing I need or want.

As a guy I have to say the so called personal gifts really don't do much for me.  If it plugs in or takes rechargable batteries thats usually a good sign.  I got a drill press for my birthday this past year and it was the best gift that I have ever received in my adult life.

What about a nice expensive remote control car.. Like the one he drives?

The bath stuff sounds nice Blondie - might have to get some of that for new years..

The best gift I've ever gotten was two Christmases ago when my husband got me a new top and side curtains for my Jeep.

Remote control cars are cool!

I would have to agree with the bath stuff - what more would a guy like than his girl washing him from head to toe - make sure to include the candles, music and his favoirte sippin' drink (you both can enjoy the gift that way)

Remote control - now I found that funny - good one

For some reason, no guy has said this, so I will!

Forget the Bath unless you have a large tub. If you have a jacuzzi, then bath toys may be appropriate. But squeezing two people into the bathroom tub is no man's idea of a Christmas present! Chicks like it, and most guys will go along with it for that reason only.

(Even VB said her best gift was something for her Jeep!)

Guys like gadgets. Palm Pilots are cheaper this year. We like anything with buttons, lights, and especially a remote control. If he loves his car, get him one of those remote control car starters so he hits a button and the car starts for him. Look for tools that do more than one thing (like the ones you see on TV.) Unique tools are cool even if you don't use them daily. (One of the neatest things I saw this year was a Tape Measure with a digital readout. I am not a carpenter, and I don't build stuff, but that would be a cool gift for me because its different!) The Xbox was a good idea, but since you probably won't be able to find that before Christmas, go with the Playstation 2 with a game called Grand Theft Auto. If you're an adult, that's the best game going. (Keep it away from the children though!)

Two gifts stand out in my recent memory. One was a gas fireplace log (remote included!) and a Palm Pilot. The other one that comes to mind is a really nice watch that I never would have bought for myself, so classy jewelry would be cool.

Happy Holidays!
