Looking for Animal Orginization to support

Pepper's Pet Pantry Webby
Hi,

We, that is, Mary Beth and I, currently live in Southern California, what with my day job being flying airplanes at Edwards AFB. Mary Beth and I run Pepper's Pet Pantry, an online pet-themed gift shop. We donate a portion of our profits to animal rescue and advocacy organizations.

We are moving to Maryland! I have taken a promotion to fly airplanes at Pax River. We'll be headed that way in about April or May-- the date is not set yet.

We'd like to locate some animal orginizations in S. MD to donate to, as a way to both support them and as a way to get our little company's name out there in Maryland. Anyone have any ideas?

Please visit our web site, http://www.pepperspetpantry.com and have a look around!

Thank you!

Greetings

Looking forward to checking out your site.

Thumbs up on your animal efforts. Check out the SMAWL link inherent in the link Ken King provided for you.

Also, could you advance us some sunny weather? Say around February? <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZNskw006' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/28/28_1_4.gif' alt='Catching Rays' border=0></a>

Much Appreciation,
Victoria

Thanks for caring for animals. Need more people like you. :flowers:

:yeahthat: I thought of you the other day hello6. My sons went into the Humane Society earlier this week and my oldest had tears in his eyes. The dogs in the cages made him very sad, so one of the workers gave him a tissue. She told him, you know if you want to do something for these animals, you can volunteer. My son decided we would fill out a form to help with the rabies clinics and chipping. He said “I just wish people understood that getting a pet means taking care of it for the rest of its life.” It took the women 2 seconds to tell him that his application had been approved for the kitten he wanted. Two prior applications were rejected on this kitten, because they just didn't feel it was a good home for the kitten. There are so many unwanted animals and millions are killed every year, unwanted and alone. It is so hard to find loving and caring homes for animals.

Thanks for thinking of me, and adopting from the Humane Soc. So many great cats and dogs meet such a lonely and sad end because people think of a pet as disposable.

If I had the time and the room, I'd have a house full of animals. We are really enjoying our new addition. He is one cool cat.

A house full of animals doesn't make for happy animals, trust me on that!
Focus your love and spoil one or 4.

Yep, I agree... we have two pets, Pepper the Wonder Dog and Coltrane the Grumpy Old Man cat. They are our fur-children! MB and I do travel from time to time, and we always find friends and neighbors to look in on them, we won't board them or anything like that, I think it's just too stressfull for them.
