HELP I need some decorating inspiration!

Rocky Mountain High!!
I'm going to try to get our new place decorated inside and out for the holidays this weekend and i need some inspiration...
It's a log cabin in the woods and I want to decorate using a rustic country Christmas theme. Anyone know of any great websites or a log cabin specific magazine?
I'm going to make the trip to that big craft store too this week. Michaels is it?
I'm looking for framed horse prints as well, Indian/Appaloosa prints in particular.
TIA!

Candles. LOTS of candles.. the more open flames the better.. and if you're in the woods.. a bonfire to set the mood.. and feel free to leave it unattended.. bonfires are safe and romantic

Also go walk thru the Apple Basket tonight and see their decorations:shrug: Even though there is so much in there you might get a few idea's.

Sometimes the simpler the better! I agree, candles in the windows... wreaths on windows or homemade swags under each window... Red bows~ You could always get some gingham type ribbon for indoor or outdoor bannisters, mailbox, etc... HGTV.com sometimes has tips on how to make things or DIYnet.com (I think :) )

HINT/TIP: Nothing says Christmas like the color red. Fill a clear glass with cranberries and top it off with a few white roses or lilies. Float cranberries and a few floating candies in a silver bowl or fill some small, stylish bowls with cranberries and place them throughout the house... I STOLE THIS IDEA OFF OF "TIPical Maryellen"

Like Sharon said, try Terry's Village. They have lots of stuff in log cabin themed stuff as well as Indian/horse motif. They're also very affordable. :yay:

Does anyone know where to find "coffee" ornaments?? I am doing a coffee themed tree and am finding it rather difficult... The balls are bronze and cream color... sugar cube garland, silver stirring spoons....

I saw brown Martha Stewart bulbs at K-Mart.

Man, this is a tough one.

You could hang demitasse cups on the branches.

Maybe some coffee samplers?
