Digital Camcorders

I want a camcorder where I can take movies of the kids, then upload them to my PC (Win2000), edit them and share them with far away loved ones. Any tips or suggestions?

Just bought mine last Spring...

I did some research and shop around for about two years before I bought mine. I bought the Sony Digital Handycam model DCR-TRV740. At first I wanna buy the DCR-TRV840 but those model are hard to find at electronic stores. I know I could order and wait for it to come but time wasn't on my side. I am happy with what I have.

yes - my camcorder can take digital picture/movie and download/upload to/from computer - EASY!

SNOW! I guess when I heard the first little snow storm that hit Telluride mtn in Colorado on August 28th. I got snow fever ever since Labor day weekend. Am I sick or what?!
Almost 3 ft total of snow fall up to last Saturday for Telluride mtn. oh yessss!!!

I got them off my movies. I just need some movies to watch at work. Alright I admit I am addicted to snow! There I said it.

I could put short movie of my kid watching TV up here if you want. :biggrin:
