A lady found the fawn under her step (they think the doe might have been hit by a car) .. her Ridge Back dog is helping look after it. The family named the fawn Bella. Once she has regained her strength (she was not in good shape when the family found her) they are going to send her to some friends who (in the past) raised two orphan deer and released them to the wild. Right now she is being bottle fed. Their dog (Hogan) has basically taken over. The fawn even shares his bed.

How Cute!!!!! Almost made me cry!!!! The fawn is adorable and its soo sweet how animals bond together sometimes... :huggy:

Are they referring to the dog as being a strange friend or a strange friend of their's because they took in a baby deer

I have seen the first pic too. It is cute that the dog shares his bed. I watched a ridgeback before and that particular one was out of it's mind. It was the only ridgeback I had ever seen.

The first pic is from this story.
:yeahthat: That's the pic and story and I had gotten in email sometime back, too. That would just confirm Snopes stating that the first pic and the others were of a different fawn. Either way.....too sweet.
