Did anyone else check out the Newtowne Players' first production, Cheaters, at the old Lex Park Library this weekend?
I understand they were sold out for all three shows (Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday matinee).
I was impressed. The building has been totally renovated and the theater itself has comfy seats, on a graduated area, so you aren't looking at the back of someone's big head. Acoustics were great and actors were really good, too.
They plan on four or five more productions this year!! I recommend you give them a try. Cheaters will be performed again next weekend.
