Tai Chi practice?

Anyone every try Tai Chi for back or neck pain management? I have a couple of herniated discs in my neck and the pain has been TERRIBLE this week after being real sick last week, I'm looking for something to help it improve. Someone recommended Tai Chi.
Today is the first day in a week after being in the hospital twice last week, the headache and pain has not been unbearable...so it's a GOOD day! :banana:
