Does anyone else detest

Pete

Repete
the Beatles like I do? I was listening to Top Tracks on XM and they were counting down the top Rock albums (according to them) the Beetles scored way up there. I have always detested the Beetles. Listening to them is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. I like McCartney :yay: and Lennon :yay: individually but there is not one single solitary Beatles song I can tollerate.

I don't like em either. There may be one or two songs I'll listen to, but that's about it. I think they're like Elvis, you're either a big fan or...ehh.

It is catchy.

I assume you are referring to the Beatles. I enjoy listening to alot of their songs. I admire and respect their uniqueness. Yes, alot of their songs are way off the wall, but there are some lyrics that take my breath away.

Yeah I've heard it, it's all over XM. I'm not a big fan of Seether either so it just doesn't strike me. It is totally different from all that other crap they used to do, but the name of the band has a stigma now.

You Dear HollowSoul are now on the list of peeps I will not eat my Charlie's Deli chicken sammich in front of...:moon: :blushing:

Here I stand head in hand
Turn my face to the wall
If she’s gone I can’t go on
Feelin’ two-foot small

Everywhere people stare
Each and every day
I can see them laugh at me
And I hear them say

Hey you’ve got to hide your love away
Hey you’ve got to hide your love away

How could I even try
I can never win
Hearing them, seeing them
In the state I’m in

How could she say to me
Love will find a way
Gather round all you clowns
Let me hear you say

Hey you’ve got to hide your love away
Hey you’ve got to hide your love away

Piggies

Have you seen the little piggies
Crawling in the dirt?
And for all the little piggies
Life is getting worse
Always having dirt to play around in

Have you seen the bigger piggies
In their starched white shirts?
You will find the bigger piggies
Stirring up the dirt
Always have clean shirts to play around in

In their styes with all their backing
They don't care what goes on around
In their eyes there's something lacking
What they need's a damn good whacking

Everywhere there's lots of piggies
Living piggy lives
You can see them out for dinner
With their piggy wives
Clutching forks and knives to eat their bacon

[One more time...]

"Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey"

Come on come on
Come on come on
Come on is such a joy
Come on is such a joy
Come on let's take it easy
Come on let's take it easy
Take it easy take it easy
Everybody's got something to hide except for me and my monkey

(Ooh) The deeper you go the higher you fly
The higher you fly the deeper you go
So come on (Come on) come on
Come on is such a joy
Come on is such a joy
Come on let's make it easy
Come on let's make it easy (Oh)
Take it easy (Yeh yeh yeh) take it easy (Hoo)
Everybody's got something to hide except for me and my monkey

Oh!

Your inside is out and your outside is in
Your outside is in and your inside is out
So come on (Ho) come on (Ho)
Come on is such a joy
Come on is such a joy
Come on let's make it easy
Come on let's make it easy
Make it easy (Hoo) make it easy (Hoo)
Everybody's got something to hide except for me and my monkey

Hey!

Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on
Come on, come on, come on...

Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on
Come on, come on, come on...
