:howdy: Welcome, Preceptor! Always good to have a new 'face' around here.

Based on your user name, are you an instructor or teacher?

Well, if you are down around Lex Park, I would say Damons...
That is where I'm going to be in 20 minutes.

It all depends on what you're looking for and how far you're willing to drive. I'm way out of the loop on the bar scene, but if you name what you're looking for, people will be more than happy to give you information - at times, TOO much information!

Hey...Preceptor...

It's a little hard to tell from your profile (nothing personal).

Are you a man or a woman?

Hi Preceptor :howdy:

Well...it was the part about "candlelight dinners" that threw me off.

Do REAL men really say that???

NO ONE really likes "Candlelight dinners and long walks on the beach."
Believe me, I've tried it (every time my electricity gets shut off at the beach).

I went a few years back on New Years and had a good time. I used to go every Thursday also...but it got REALLY bad in there with fighting, etc... and got tired of it. Plus, I moved and it was just too daggone far away, .

Hello Everyone.

Thank you for the welcomes.
Yes I do enjoy candle light dinners, walks on the beach, and other good mushy stuff. Yes I am a guy. And I am wearing jeans, pull-over shirt, and cowboy boots (casual day). Yesterday when I wrote, it was a tie, slacks, and dress shirt.
I have been to Monks with some friends and it was all right. I like going places where I can dance. I prefer country but I enjoy dancing to just about anything.

well, sounds like you and Tater would get along then. He's something of a redneck, but never seems to remember to wear his cowboy hat to the parties.

A guy that dances!!!!! Love it! You'd probably like the Valley Lee tavern better... more country is played in there. Don't know if they're doing something for new year's... but I'm sure they are since its their first one.
