NO LIMITS Band is dedicating their next several performances to raising funds for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Three of the six members of NO LIMITS were born and raised in Louisiana and Mississippi and each still have parents, siblings and other family and friends living in the areas directly affected by the Hurricane.
Please log on to the No Limits Band WebSite at www.nolimitsband.net and check the schedule page for a performance near you during the next couple of months. There are gigs in Waldorf (Memories), Deale (Calypso Bay), Indian Head (Citrus Cafe), and Clinton (Decoy Lounge) during this period. Announcements will be made at every performance and updates will be posted on the band's website.
Please help us help out the folks devastated by this tragedy by attending a performance, donating by check (made payable to the American Red Cross) or cash (100% will be forwarded to the Red Cross) and enjoy great Classic/Southern Rock and Country music as only NO LIMITS can do it. The band plans to collect through September and October or as long as the donations keep coming. The totals and status will be updated weekly on the band's web site with more details in the fan "E"-Newsletter mailings (you can sign up on the web site).
The Boys of NO LIMITS hopes you will come out and help us pool resources to show how much Southern Maryland cares about their fellow Americans in need, but if you prefer to donate on your own, please do so, and consider that the Red Cross is the best way to get the money to where it is needed most. They are the only organization thus far that promises to channel 100% of donated money directly to the Hurricane Victims.
