I am considering to buy a new BC for next season. What will you suggest that I look for? I am small and require little weight and most of my diving is to about forty to fifty feet.

Also, what is the advantage of back floatation and also what is its disadvantage? Do you prefer back or side floatation and why?

Thank you.

Both my hubby and son dive, so I'll point them to this thread.

Get something you like. I haven't been diving since I left Hawaii and moved to the land of murky water.

No, but thank you. I have everything except I only wish to buy a new BC. But I will ask others. My "dive buddy" is an instructor and may know a student that needs things.

I scuba dive and I am certified Advanced Open water....As for the BC question. There are some BCs that were made specifically for the female form. I forgot the name but I can look that up.
