Ferrets are great. Like Kittens that never grow up.
BUT.....
They take a lot of work. First to litterbox train. Then to keep clean. They have a very strong smell even if they're descented so you're always bathing, cleaning, deoderizing, perfuming.
They're GREAT mousers.(better than cats!) My dogs and my cats are scared to death of them and tuck tail and run from them. But they're funny little fellas and LOVE their people.
I love my Chester and Mr. Nips...cuddle bugs the both of 'em, but if I had to do it all over again I'd leave them in the pet store.
